  5. Again heat mustard oil in the kadai,add the cumin seeds,dry whole red chilli and bay leaves,and once the cumin seeds start to splutter,add ginger paste and fry for few seconds then add the boiled banana blossom.
  6. Add turmeric powder and salt.Cover the pan with a lid,and allow it to cook for 10 minutes on a slow flame.
  7. Add cumin powder,coriander powder,turmeric powder and red chilli powder and mix well.
  8. Add the fried potatoes and cook till all the ingredients are soft. Also add a spoon of sugar and salt.Mix well.
  9. Now add the boiled small brown chickpeas, and cook for 5-7 minutes.
  10. Add the grated coconut now and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  11. Finally,add the garam masala powder and mix.
  12. Cook on a low flame until the water has dried out.
  13. Banana Blossom Curry is ready to serve.
  14. Garnish it with some more grated coconut.
  15. This dish goes very well with steamed rice.
